  • 6 medium-sized eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence or high-quality vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp milk powder
  • 5 tbsp full cream milk

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla essence and milk powder.
  5. Gradually add in the full cream milk until the mixture is smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving. Best enjoyed the next day.

Notes

For serving, dust with powdered sugar, add whipped cream, or serve with fresh fruits like strawberries or raspberries. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
