Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the mashed bananas.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
Rich Banana Bread is best served warm or at room temperature. It can be enjoyed plain or with a spread of butter. It pairs excellently with coffee or tea. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
