Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into strips.
- Wrap the strips around cone molds, overlapping slightly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Filling
- While the cones cool, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Fill the cooled pastry cones with the whipped cream.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or fruit, if desired. Serve chilled.
Notes
Store unfilled cones in an airtight container at room temperature. Don't fill the cones until just before serving to maintain texture. If adding flavors to the cream, consider using cocoa powder or almond extract.
