Method
Making the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, condensed milk, and egg.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Baking the Rolls
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough, divide it into pieces, and shape them into rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These rolls are delightful when served warm, straight from the oven. They can be paired with butter, honey, jam, or any spread of your choice. Best if eaten fresh, but can be stored as directed.
