  • 1 loaf loaf of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously on both halves of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered bread.
Baking
  1. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

Best served warm. Pairs well with pasta, salads, or soups. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
